BROCADE

Brocade is a class of richly decorative shuttle-woven fabrics, often made in colored silks and with or without gold and silver threads.

Brocade is useful for its skin-friendliness, quality and available at reasonable rates in the market. It is extensively used in making stoles, scarves, dress materials, curtains, cushion covers and many clothing products.

Chiffon is a lightweight plain-woven fabric with mesh like weave that gives it transparent appearance.

It is primarily made from cotton, silk or synthetic fibers like nylon, rayon and polyester. Chiffon is most commonly used to weave Sarees, Dresses and Scarves.

Cotton can be described as a soft fiber which is mostly used to spin a thread which is widely used in textiles. Cotton is a widely used fabric for textile printing and almost every style of clothing can be made from cotton.

Denim is traditionally woven with 100%-cotton yarn – however, today it’s blended with polyester, to control shrinkage and wrinkles, and lycra to add stretch.

Lace is a patterned fabric produced with machines and/or some intricate handwork by looping, braiding or twisting a thread. Often woven from cotton, silk or rayon it has a distinct embroidered pattern. The lace fabric has an open weave with visible space in between the weaves.

LINEN FABRICS

Linen is known for being extremely sturdy, durable as well as highly absorbent.

Linen, like most other fabrics, can be embroidered on or printed on to create different patterns or designs as per the creative vision of the designer working with it.

Linen is widely used in the fashion industry to create a variety of garments such as pants, dresses, shirts as well as Indian ethnic attire.

During summer, loose fitting linen pants/pajamas for both men and women is considered to be the ideal summer wear.

Apart from clothing, linen is also used to create bath and bed fabrics, commercial furnishings and home furnishings, and industrial products such as canvases, bags and so on.

Mesh is loosely woven or knitted fabric that has a large number of closely spaced holes.

Airtech Mesh Fabric. A very durable polyester mesh fabric. Used for sportswear but can be used for linings, arts and crafts, dresses and tops.

Pleats are folds in fabric which give controlled firmness. Pleats may fall from the natural waistline or ma y begin below a dropped waistline. They may be found in a bodice or in a sleeve. Satin is perhaps the most popular fabric when it comes to stylish and elegant dressing for women in particular.  It is very comfortable and can be worn throughout the year in dozens of ways.  The fabric has a high durability value and is also used for sports apparel like athletic tracks and jackets, shorts as well as ballet shoes.  It is a hot favorite in the bridal gown industry as the graceful Satin is what gowns are primarily made out of.  The sheer elegance of the fabric and the fall of the pleats of the gown make satin ‘the fabric’ that dream gowns are made out of.

Scuba is made with a very fine knit gauge and smooth thread, which gives it an extremely smooth finish. The finish also gives the color a matte quality.

The term scuba is often used interchangeably with the term neoprene. Neoprene is a similar feeling fabric, but with one major difference: the word neoprene refers to a thin piece of foam. This foam is then sandwiched between two thin layers of knit to create neoprene fabric. While the fabrics behave similarly, neoprene fabric can be less comfortable to wear because that thin piece of foam can get very warm for the wearer.
